Polarizing ski goggles?
I have some brand new oakley goggles and I don’t want to have to buy all new goggles, but I need some polarized ones. I was wondering if there is any way of polarizing or making a polarized filter at home. I’ve been searching on the internet but haven’t found anything useful yet.
Your Oakly’s aren’t polarized? I’m surprised. They are certainly one of the best sports protection eyeglass manufacturers out there. I’ve been into bike racing since the late 70s and Oakly has been around for a long long time. I have a few pair.
Double check that your glasses aren’t polarized. I’d be surprised if they aren’t. Take them to a professional optometrist to be checked. Oakly’s are known to be first rate.
Don’t try to do anything at home to your professionally made glasses. You can really mess them up. I’ve spent over a $2000 in my life, easily, on good sunglasses. You don’t want to mess around with your eyes.
